# Payment Methods

**Online**, we accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, and Debit MasterCard.

**In-store**, we accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Debit MasterCard, American Express, Debit Card, Money Orders, Internet Bank Transfers, Cash, and Radioworld Gift Cards (we do not accept gift cards for phone or online orders).

Please note that we accept personal credit cards only.
*We also accept personal cheques from approved customers. Personal cheques and money orders from new customers must clear at our bank before we ship the order.*

| We’ve added a [3D Secure](https://help.radioworld.ca/en/article/3d-secure-16obths/) verification step to help protect your payment.
*This extra step keeps your transactions safer and helps prevent unauthorised card use.*

### How the payment process works:

1. When you place an order, your bank may ask you to confirm your identity through [3D Secure](https://help.radioworld.ca/en/article/3d-secure-16obths/) (for example, by entering a code or approving the purchase in your banking app).
2. Once the authentication is successful, a [pre‑authorisation hold](https://help.radioworld.ca/en/article/pre-authorisation-charges-17xypa5/) is placed on your credit card. Your card is **not charged** at this time
3. When your order is shipped, payment is processed and your card is charged.
